Tuesday 25th November 2008

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Mercian Regiment will visit the 3rd Battalion (Staffords) and will meet soldiers on exercise in Copehill Down Village an urban operations training area on Salisbury Plain. His Royal Highness will present Long Service Good Conduct (LSGC) Medals and Royal Warrants to members of the Battalion. He will also meet soldiers who have recently rejoined the Army and those under going educational courses as part of their wider military training, Copehill Down, Chitterne, Wiltshire.

The Prince of Wales will deliver the keynote speech at the Foreign Press Association Media Awards, the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London.
